A newly-built home at 33 Tooth Avenue in Paddington has just sold for a record breaking price of $3.3 million. The sale set a new record for Tooth Avenue, considered to be one of Paddington’s best streets. The previous record sale was set by number 29, which sold for $2.4 million in 2016.

The five-bedroom home was built by Builders Zephyr Industries and designed in a Hamptons style — a style
that has become very popular with Brisbane buyers — with an emphasis placed on luxury and quality finishes.

The home had just one open home on a Saturday after going to the market earlier that week on Wednesday; more than 300 people attended that one open home.

The house went under contract almost immediately after the open home. Selling agent Emil Juresic said the buyer was an executive from Brisbane who wished to remain anonymous.

“It’s a massive result,” he said.
Mr Juresic attributed the speedy sale to the quality of the home, and the marketing campaign which he had previously described as “brutal”.

“It all depends on the house, this house was very unique, we had a great home and a great marketing strategy,” he said.

“We had 180,000 views on our videos, 200 email enquiries in the first few days.”

Mr Juresic said he expected to see more $3 million-plus sales in the suburb soon.
“At the moment we are starting to see activity around prestige houses and in the next few months I’m about to list five homes around the $3 million range.”
